  • What is a Hydrafacial?
Hydrafacial is an invigorating treatment. It delivers long-term skin health and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of all skin types. The Hydrafacial Treatment removes dead skin cells and extracts impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleaning, hydrating, and moisturizing serums. The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating, and immediately effective.
  • Why is a Hydrafacial good for my skin?
Hydrafacial is the foundation of healthy, radiant skin. Irritation of the skin has been proven to increase signs of aging. Hydrafacial is a hydrating and non-irritating treatment.
  • Am I a candidate for a Hydrafacial?
The Hydrafacial Treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the Hydrafacial Treatment.
  • Is there any downtown after a Hydrafacial Treatment?
No. You can put on makeup and return to your normal activities right after treatment.
  • How do I need to prepare before getting a Hydrafacial?
Just come with a clean, freshly washed face.
  • What are lash extensions?
Eyelash Extensions are semi-permanent lashes that are hand-glued on top of your natural lashes. Each extension is glued and placed on each individual natural hair. This is super customizable and will elevate your look.
  • How long do eyelash extensions last?
They’ll last as long as your natural lash does. Once that natural lash sheds or falls off then that extension will fall out too. That’s why we recommend to get a fill in every 2 weeks so that we can remove those outgrown lash extensions and keep them looking full.ry.
  • Do lash extensions ruin your natural lashes?
Not really. It takes years of bad application and improper care for long-term lash damage. That’s why it’s important to be picky with who your lash technician is. Fortunately, Shiella at The Skin Firm is well educated, and we care about your lash heath here. We will provide you with a lash-after kit, so your natural lash and extensions are well taken care of.
  • Can I wear makeup to my appointment?
To save some time, we recommend our clients come in with no mascara, eyeshadow, or eyeliner.
  • What can you not do with eyelash extensions?
Refrain from tugging, pulling, rubbing, or applying any type of oil formulated products. Oil will break up the adhesive. Avoid oil or serums on the lash line.
  • Can I put on mascara on my lash extensions?
This is not recommended. When you take the mascara off at the end of the day, you can cause your extensions to break from the friction and makeup remover. Your extensions will never be clean again, and you don’t want dirt and bacteria to grow on them.
